ANIMALS HAVE AN INHERENT RIGHT TO LIVE THEIR OWN LIVES

Any time humans use another species for sport or entertainment, the doomed consequence is grave physical and emotional damage. This includes using animals in bullfights, cockfights, dogfights, horse racing, greyhound racing, rodeos, circuses, zoos, and canned hunts of large animals such as lions and tigers. For these animals, it often means
a life without freedom to express their true spirit, the agony of enduring multiple chronic injuries, and a grisly premature death.

WILD ORCAS ROAM ONE HUNDRED MILES A DAY

They live as long as us, perhaps longer. So it’s no surprise that inside a concrete tank in an oceanarium such as SeaWorld, orcas survive only about ten years. To us this would be the equivalent of dying in our childhood. Don’t support profiteers who exploit animal prisoners. Help end injustice against animals and make a better society for everyone.

THE TRADITION OF KILLING CONTINUES TODAY

Watch the 4-minute video called Buffalo Forced From Natural Habitat. See how our tax dollars are used by the federal government to terrorize and kill buffalo out in the West. It’s time we made new traditions. Let’s work together to prevent the reckless killing of all wildlife. Biodiversity is essential for a healthy planet.

REMEMBER HOW PROGRESS HAPPENS

However, history shows clearly that humanity is moved forward not by people who stop every little while to try to gauge the ultimate success or failure of their ventures, but by those who think deeply about what is right and then put all their energy into doing it.

HUNTERS KILL BECAUSE THEY DON’T USE THEIR ENERGY TO CREATE

We have never understood why men mount the heads of animals and hang them up to look down on their conquerors. Possibly it feels good to these men to feel superior to animals, but does it not seem that if they were sure of it they would not have to prove it? Often a man who is afraid must constantly demonstrate his courage and, in the case of the hunter, must keep a tangible record of his courage.

BE PREPARED TO HELP INJURED ANIMALS

Animals on the shoulder of the highway may appear dead but only need rescue. Never assume someone else will stop
and check. And if you do spot another driver helping an injured animal, safely pull over and offer your assistance. An
extra hand might just be what the driver and the animal need. You’ll feel great to be of service. Learn how to make a roadside rescue kit.
